Ray Succre

Ray Succre

Ray Succre is 31 and currently lives in Coos Bay, Oregon, a small, coastal town where art is sparse and, when it does exist is of a general relation to driftwood, deer, dying romance, or various maritime subjects. He has tried to leave the town numerous times. He is married, has just become a father, and loves the south coast. He writes each day and is very driven to better himself and his work. In addition to poetry, short stories, and essays, he pretends also to be a novelist and is an avid loiterer in restaurants. He is between dishwasher jobs and is currently a stay-at-home dad, which he loves dearly.  He has published much in the last few years, and is also a winner of the Adroitly Placed Word Award, for spoken word.  He tries hard.

Tony R. Rodriguez

Tony R. Rodriguez

Tony Richard Rodriguez was born in Fremont, California on August 22, 1977. A graduate of San Francisco State University, Tony earned his BA in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in English-Literature. He is currently teaching Theology at Moreau Catholic High School in Hayward, CA. Tony spends his days loving his wife Helena and daughter Allison Marie, though he also quite enjoys bashing political pundits on the Left and Right. He's authored three books, which include The Disappearance and the Slow Awakening, Rapid Eye Metaphors, and the most recent Simplicity Regurgitated: Poems and Shorts. Imaginatively, Tony still lives in San Francisco, California. He is currently at work on his fourth novel, a heartfelt canticle addressing the buoyant reality of religion and politics in today's America.
