   Bonfire Update: The bonfire has been postponed due to weather.  It will be scheduled soon so please turn in your $4 to Mrs. Meshaw if you plan to attend!

February 22, 2009~

Some new updates:

• MEETING Wednesday, Feb. 25 (yes, it's a half-day but please make every effort to come!) We will be handing out the Animal Team's bracelets!
• Karaoke Night was a great success!  Thank you to all those who participated or helped us out!  The next project for the Environment Team will probably be a project to beautify Wilson so please attend the next meeting for more details!
• The bake sale for Pennies for Patients will be from Feb. 23-27.  Please remember to bring what you signed-up for on your day (Monday or Wednesday).  If you are interested in working at the table during your lunch, please contact Allison.  Also, we need volunteers to work the table during 2nd lunch!  The money raised will be donated to Pennies for Patients, an organization that is focused on leukemia and lymphoma, both deadly types of cancers.  
• We will be selling wristbands for the Humane Society from Feb. 26-Mar. 10.  Each person will receive about 5 bracelets and they will be sold at $2/each.  Please keep track of your money and bracelets!  The funds will go to the local Humane Society.

Also, please remember to use Blackle instead of Google!  It's powered by Google so you get the same results, but because of its dark background (like this website), it saves the energy that your computer would use to show a white background!
