I was born in Edinburgh Scotland. Our family moved to Canada in 1957. We came over by ship named the "Fairsea " It took thirteen days to arrive to our destination Toronto, Canada.
I am the youngest of four sisters, Ruby, Katherine, Margaret. Born from John Neilson Rankine and Isabella (Pow) Rankine.
In 1969 one of my pals and I went over to Europe. We hitch-hiked and stayed in Youth Hostels most of the time. We toured most of western Europe and I will never look back. We had so much fun and met many interesting people.
I am retired from Government work..Provincial.
I am married now and live in Toronto with my husband Denis ( a retired high school teacher) and my cat Serge.
I took a writing course with The Children's Writer. And belonged to The Canadian Children's Book Centre.
I have always been interested in writing children's stories and have quite a few done.
I am in the process of getting my first book published with Publishamerica and I am thrilled to bits.
