THE WILLIAMS BROTHERS are truly pioneers of what is now referred to as the "jamband" scene. After 10 years of being based from NORTHERN CALIFORNIA, band leader JAMES WILLIAMS moved the group to WESTERN COLORADO in 2000, where they peform at various festivals and select venues. Over the past 15 years the brothers have help start several music venues, put together some of the earliest jamband festivals, and have tirelessly promoted the genre. A WILLIAMS BROTHERS show features long jams with entertwining songs. Lead guitar player PHILLIP WILLIAMS as well as blowing a mean harp, plays guitar with a deep blues style and the ability of any of the famous guitar players throughout history, While his brother, JAMES WILLIAMS sings with all the grit of JIM MORRISON the soul of OTIS REDDING and with the personal experience of JERRY GARCIA. Whether solo, together as "ACOUSTIC WB" or with their back-up group THE HOMEGROWN BOOGIE BAND. WILLIAMS BROTHERS shows are always full of suprises including various special guests.
