Brought up in rural Somerset and with a Chilean/English heritage, William Echo moved to London in 2007 to pursue a career in music. He started early, learning to play drums aged 9, and by the age of 17 found himself fronting bands and gigging around the South-West.

Currently studying for a degree in Commercial Music, he has developed his own brand of alternative electro blues, drawing influences from bands and artists such as Arcade Fire, Muse, The White Stripes, Beck, Dan Black & Radiohead.

In the studio he writes, performs and records all material himself. Live, however, he performs with his own band of talented musicians, creating a hybrid electro-alternative sound straddling the broad genres of rock and pop.

Having performed for 3 years as a drummer in a jazz/big band, played alongside varied musicians such as Julian Perretta & Pure Reason Revolution, and collaborating with hip-hop artist Ruinz Ason, this is a solo artist open to everything, unafraid to push boundaries and bend genres.
