Terry Staceys Shameless Ego Trip & Other Links Page

TS with Wildwood, Concert at Coolangatta Beach, Jan 1972

Ok.....its my web site and if ya got it, why not flaunt it ! So here are some things that I want people to know about. I think its called self-promotion.........or maybe having a big head.................... this page is new so I am still fiddling with it.

MY MUSIC - I've got got a number of songs, that I wrote myself (except for one that I wrote some lyrics for) on the Internet at www.mp3.com.au

You can download them as mp3's from there.

So here they are:

1. World of a Thousand Nightmares (S. Moody/M.Willens/T Stacey)  - The Bliss Bombes. This was originally written a long time ago by a friend of my first band,"Stinger' Moody, and Mick Willens, and we used to play it in The Unique Set. We never recorded it then, of course. So I was mucking around with the guitarist who was in my last band, Ian Chia, in his home studio and decided to put it down for posterity. Had to write a lot of new lyrics myself as I had no idea what they were originally, except the first verse & the chorus . I'm rather proud of it as I play all the guitars, bass & do lead vocals and it turned out exactly as I wanted (dirty 60's garage band). Love that creepy Farfisa sounding organ. It only took about 2 hours to do (yeh I know... it sounds like it !) - http://www.mp3.com.au/track.asp?id=104409

2. Louise Louise (Terence J Stacey) - Terry & The Woodworms. A little blues rock thing I wrote. One of a number of tracks I wrote & produced in a 24 track studio in 2000 as part of a long held ambition. I used various muso friends plus my son Luke and his friend Ben. I just love Terry Darmody's Blues Harmonica playing which really makes it. - http://www.mp3.com.au/track.asp?id=23518

3. Missing You (Terence J Stacey) - The Woodworms - A Country Rock tune I wrote many years ago. Recorded as above in 2000. My friend Roe does a great lead vocal. This was No 1 on the mp3.com.au Country charts for 5 weeks in 2001. - http://www.mp3.com.au/track.asp?id=11351

4. Where the Sun Shines Brightly (Terence J Stacey) - Terry & The Woodworms. A bit of a fun song. - http://www.mp3.com.au/track.asp?id=16882

Anyone can download these for FREE. If you wanna record them yourself I wanna know about it. If you play any live I'll be most impressed.

MY WRITINGS - I've had a number of things I wrote published and some of them are on the internet
