hi everyone
i,m marc palmer and im the director of the swan pit wildlife sanctuary and childrens farm.firstly WOW!! what a year and im looking forward to 2006. We started this sanctuary back in 2004 to house our various animals rescued from the pet trade, cruelty, factory farming and general disownment. We have a no sale and no kill policy so all the residents who come here remain here for life. The sanctuary is set in 4 acres and has a farm area pond, paddocks, rabbit runs, hedghog area, avairies, and field shelters we work hard to ensure all the animals and birds have stimulation and behaviour enrichment throughout there days here.We have attracted a tremendous amount of media intrest both locally and nationally due to myself training animals for tv work and being 19 when i started this adventure and so far all has been a really positive experience for all involved.I am enjoying the experience of training and running the sanctuary and express a real invitation to yourselves and your family to join us at the sanctuary and if you ring before we will personally show you round and give you a private demonstration
til then
thank you for the invaluable support

As a visitor to the sanctuary. The emphasis is on relaxation and natural behaviour with our animals we work to promote our centre as a tranquil relaxing envrioment for our residents and visitors
the sanctuary is proven to be completly different to any other place with our sanctuary been small yet visitors spending up to 6 hours here at a time just relaxing round our animals
