To install
You need:
-Zelda Twilight Princess
-SD card
-a way to put files on your SD card from your computer
-patience [it looks longer than it is, it's just long to write ><]
1- Install the Twilight Hack. (if you already have it, skip to step 2)
If you already have a Zelda TP save, copy the save file on the SD card. Then put the folder named "private" from your SD to your PC. Download this and put the folder at the root of the SD card.
Put the SD card in the Wii, delete the Zelda save file on the Wii (don't worry, you just made a copy on your PC) then copy the hacked save file from the SD card to the Wii.
From now on, the Zelda TP save file is now the Twilight Hack.
2- Install the Homebrew Channel (if you already have it, skip to step 3)
Download this and put the file "boot.elf" on the root of the SD card.
Put the SD card on the Wii, open Zelda TP, load the first file, then talk to the guy in front of you. The screen will become black and text will appear. Follow the instructions written, and the Wii will restart.
Now, the Homebrew Channel is installed.
(You can put back your real ZeldaTP save file now, if you wish)
3- Install the Homebrew Ocarina on the Homebrew Channel
Create a folder named "apps" on the root of the SD card.
Download the Homebrew Ocarina:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=DEVXT71K (there's already some codes in it)
In the zip file there's a folder named "hbc", and inside it there's a folder named "ocarina". Put "ocarina" in the folder "apps" of the SD card.
The folder named "pc" is for choosing the codes. Keep it on your computer.
4- Choosing the codes
(from now on, you are working it the folder "pc")
For NTSC Version (US):
You can copy those codes here (for example) and paste them into the file "rsbe.txt". Codes has to have a title and be seperated by 2 lines. You can see my suggested list of codes here.
For PAL Version (EU):
You can copy those codes here (for example) and paste them into the file "rsbp.txt". Codes has to have a title and be seperated by 2 lines. You can see my suggested list of codes here.
5- Apply the codes
For NTSC Versions:
Open "codemgr.exe", and choose "File> Open TXT file" then "rsbe.txt".
Choose tje codes you want to apply then click "Export to GCT".
In "Drive letter" choose what is your SD card, then click "Store".
If it worked, a folder called "Codes" will appear at the root of your SD card.
For PAL Versions:
Open "codemgr.exe", and choose "File> Open TXT file" then "rsbp.txt".
Choose tje codes you want to apply then click "Export to GCT".
In "Drive letter" choose what is your SD card, then click "Store".
If it worked, a folder called "Codes" will appear at the root of your SD card.
6- Start playing!
Put the SD card and SSBB in your Wii.
Instead of starting the game normally, choose the Homebrew Channel, then click "Ocarina".
You will have to press A on the Wiimote to start the game.
The game will now start like as usual, but with codes.
If you want to play without codes, just open the game as you would normally without Ocarina.
Notes:
-Codes won't work online exept if your opponent applied the same codes as you.
-Texture hacks doesn't work that way.
-When you start the game with Ocarina, you won't be able to save Snapshots/Stages on your SD card. You will have to save it onto your Wii first, then start the game without Ocarina, then transfer them on your SD card.
I hope everything is easy to understand! This tutorial was made entirely by me (Segab), by the way.
