Wigzy Designs is me, Claire Vickery, making creative items in between running a very busy home. I started off making greetings cards and developed my interest into stained glass. I attended several courses on making leaded stained glass panels and developed some ideas in my home studio. Ive subsequently bought a kiln and most of my work now uses the fusing technique.

Limited studio space means I only take on small to medium leaded projects. Instead, most of my work is fused glass. Fused glass pendants and window hangings are extremely popular and with no one piece like any other they are funky, unique and contemporary. With a spectrum of colours to play with, including some fabulous dichroic glass and the different effects achieved by programming the kiln, there appears to be no limit to the new and exciting pieces that can be produced.
My lampwork jewellery including lampwork bracelets are fabulous to wear and a real talking point. A great deal of time goes into every piece and, with a lot of effort going into sourcing a wide variety of beads youre guaranteed to never have that hideous Im-wearing-the-same-as-you moment! I never bulk-buy beads (even when I fall madly in love with them) and I always string each piece individually. A recent addition is my affordable answer to the very expensive lampwork glass beads with silver core bracelets. At a fraction of the cost, here's my answer to the likes of Troll, Pandora and Biagi - I call them The Trolli bracelets!
By popular demand I've been making earrings. Again, each set it handmade, unique and I'll never make another pair quite like it. There's a few sets of earrings with matching pendants to take a look at too.
