FOR QUESTIONS ABOUT ADOPTIONS, OR RE-HOMING A PET- Please direct an email to us at Phrynosoma_Texas@yahoo.com
FOR GENERAL REPTILE CARE AND REPTILE VETERINARY QUESTIONS - You may email, however, because answering emails takes up a fair amount of time and often requires follow ups to get to the bottom of any particular problem, we are now requesting that you make a minimum donation of $5 so that we can CONTINUE to offer our services. We receive no funding other than out of our own pockets and donations, and most people who use our rehoming or consultation services do not leave any donations for our time. We would love to be able to continue to offer our time, to advise people on caring for their animals, for free; but it's just not possible anymore. The doors are barely open.
DONATIONS: To make a monetary donation, you may do so through PayPal by clicking on the Donate button at the bottom of the page or navigating to the donate page at the left. To donate by regular mail or to donate supplies, please email us at: Phrynosoma_Texas@yahoo.com

Phone for EMERGENCIES ONLY!!!!!
Animals that are injured, in harms way, if you found a baby animal, or for people I have an already established relationship with. If it is a ligitimate emergency, you can call after hours. If an animal is in need I will respond any hour if I am able.,
We do consider any information pertaining to a Horned Lizard sighting to be worthy of a phone call.
Phone cannot always be answered immediately, but we do usually check voice mails within a few minutes of a call, so please leave a message with all the relevant information ( type of animal, locations, any injuries, etc. ) and we will get back to you as soon as possible. We do not return phone calls that do not leave a message which states the particulars. If you just say "Hi, my name is Joe, please call me", I don't know who you are and what you want. I might put it off. I may think you are a telemarketer and not call back. Please state why you are calling.
>>THIS NUMBER IS FOR EMERGENCIES ONLY<<.
If you are wanting to give up an unwanted pet or ask a question, this is NOT AN EMERGENCY. USE THE EMAIL ADDRESS ABOVE FOR NON-EMERGENCIES )<<.
This number is my personal cell phone, and you cost me money when you call. Make sure it for the right reason.
I do not respond to texts messages. If you have something for me, then leave a voice mail with the relative information. If your message is not related to an animal emergency, or we don't already have an established relationship, your voice mail will be deleted and I will not call you back.
Due to recent calls, which are not related to an actual emergency, I will now illustrate some examples of what is not an emergency:
1. If you ordered harvester ants and have some question about your order - THIS IS NOT AN EMERGENCY
2. If you are considering ordering ants, and merely have a few questions - THIS IS NOT AN EMERGENCY
3. If you are considering adopting or purchasing an animal, and you have questions - THIS IS NOT AN EMERGENCY
4. If any of the following is true:
a. your bratty kid is now tired of his or her snake, lizard, or turtle that you irresponsibly bought for a child, and the animal has grown like it should but you didn't do any research or prepare for it;
b. if it is now outgrowing the pitifully small terrarium you thought you would get away with purchasing and housing this animal the rest of it's life;
c. if you are now cheap and don't want to spend any more money on it, and looking for someone to dump it on now, never having learned self responsibility, proper research of your pets, or do not have the desire to teach your kid the same...
THIS IS NOT AN EMERGENCY AND YOU SHOULD EMAIL.
