09/02/2009 – Script to... Speaker?

Right! Having spent over two weeks without internet access - damn virus! - it's time to get cracking again. I've gone back to looking at scripts and plans for our season two audios. I'm thinking now about moving The Orb of Epsilon to the end of the second series, rather than it being a standalone. It'd be a great story to finish on, but it needs a few re-writes first, along with most of our other sripts. Heck, some of them haven't even been written yet, including the first one. Richard B Brookes is once again being the nicest guy on Earth by writing another story for me, and helping me out with re-drafting. The writing is, for me, the most frustrating stage, because I'm eager to get recording and start post-production. I have some great ideas and no way of implementing them. I know that the scripts have to be decent for the episodes to work, no matter how professional the sound design is, but I'll be a happy man when we start casting. Sound is one thing that I'm very keen to learn more about during my time at university, and these projects of ours are going to be very useful to me, on a personal level, for the application of my knowledge. Having spent some time in the edit suites working on sound-based projects already, you don't know how excited I am to experience more.

Vwaarp, Vwaarp!
