BMA

This is the history of me...the Buttmonkey

I've been in showbiz since i started eating bananas, and I've done a little of everything. I have been a comedy writer, talent scout, cameramonkey, best boy, a gaffer,(and I still don't know what that is) and even a director. But it was when I was an acting coach for Manis the orangutan, who is best known for his role as Clyde in Every Which Way But Loose, that I ran into Joss Whedon. We instantly became friends and I showed him the 'biz'. He was an eager young fellow who had a knack for words and a interest in the supernatural and religion. My interests were of bananas and women who only shave one leg. It wasn't long before the student surpassed the teacher and I was working for him.

The best days of my life.

I got started working for Joss as a food tester on the set of Buffy, and quickly worked my way up to be his assistant. I still like to taste his food though. I knew I had "made it" when I got my own cubicle

Joss and I were inseparable.

I spent the first year just clinging to his coattails......or arm, leg, or in some way hanging on him. We went everywhere together.

Always a ladies monkey.

It was thrilling to work with Joss and all those fine actresses........oh..and..um...actors. They used to always say I had ALOT of Charisma...

...but I always considered myself a Gellar feller.

Spank you very much!

The cast and crew contributed a lot of the success of the show to the patting of my butt. They said it was like rubbing Buddha's belly.....

                              ...but firmer

We were like family.

David and I were like brothers. We talked alot,                      and like to hang out,
party together,
even  relax after a long day of shooting.

Joss allowed me some creative liberties along the way. I helped direct...
I helped develop some of the characters...

I co-wrote the script for the Buffy vs. Dracula episode (mainly Xander's role), and I even landed a major role on one episode of Angel.
