I've been in showbiz since i started eating bananas, and I've done a
little of everything. I have been a comedy writer, talent scout,
cameramonkey, best boy, a gaffer,(and I still don't know what that is)
and even a director. But it was when I was an acting coach for Manis
the orangutan, who is best known for his role as Clyde in Every Which
Way But Loose, that I ran into Joss Whedon. We instantly became friends
and I showed him the 'biz'. He was an eager young fellow who had a
knack for words and a interest in the supernatural and religion. My
interests were of bananas and women who only shave one leg. It wasn't
long before the student surpassed the teacher and I was working for him.
