Welcome to my website. From the get-go, let me introduce you to the most important person in my life, my wife, Roz. I love and adore her. We have been married since 2003. After my divorce in 2000, I prayed deeply to meet my soulmate. We met in Tampa, Florida on October 27, 2002. That day, my son, Michael, took me to a health fair. Roz is a massage therapist and she gave a talk at that fair about a body technique that she specializes in called "Zero Balancing". The moment she entered the room I knew my prayers were answered. We married on June 21, 2003. Together, we are creating the life we love. More about that later.
I was born in the Bronx, NY on May 23, 1948. So now you know my age!
I grew up in Queens, NY and have a younger brother.
Growing up, I enjoyed various sports, especially swimming, which I lettered in in high school. I was also named athlete scholar of my high school graduating class.
In school, I was interested in science. My mother's greatest wish was that I become a physician. I chose to become a doctor of psychology instead and graduated from the City Univeristy of New York with a Ph.D. in Social Psychology.
Thereafter, I applied my psychology training as a teacher of mentally challenged children. I taught in a junior high school in one of the worst parts of NYC, "Fort Apache". It was such a wild area filled with gangs and crime. A number of years later, Paul Newman made a movie about this area.
I left teaching and went to work for General Foods in the market research department. That company no longer exists - it was first bought by Philip Morris, the cigarette maker, and then combined with Kraft Foods. I learned a lot about "food manufacturing" while there. That's where I began to realize that many of the packaged consumer goods sold in supermarkets are not really food, as a result of the processing and chemical additives.
This really struck home one day when my oldest son, Jonathan, drank some Kool-Aid. Within a short period of time, his arms and legs became swollen, and he couldn't move. My wife had to rush him to the doctor. To this day, I believe he had a reaction to the food coloring in the product.
My family grew - we had three sons.
However, each of them had various health issues. My first two sons were not breast fed and they were allergic to most of the infant formulas, so the doctor put them on soy-based formulas. As my oldest son grew up, we discovered he was Dyslexic and had difficulty learning. My youngest son, Robert, was hyperactive. Once, as an infant, he threw himself out of his crib. A few times he ran wildly on the back of a sofa at a friend's home.
Doctors couldn't help us, so I started looking in an alternative direction - nutrition.
I learned to do muscle testing and found that Jonathan's Dyslexia was due to his milk allergy, not because of a middle ear imbalance as one doctor had said. Through further study, I learned that Robert's hyperactivity was related to various vitamin deficiencies, including D and B6. As each of these areas were addressed, their health and performance improved.
Time came to apply the nutrition information to myself. I studied "Life Extension" by Dirk Pearson and Sandy Shaw, a real milestone in the 70's in the field of nutrition. I had many beneficial effects from their recommendations. However, one event is etched in my memory. I took supplements they recommended to increase strength. During that time, I was jogging regularly and occasionally playing softball with my neighbors. I usually played right field and batted last - you get the picture - I wasn't much of a ball player.
Nonetheless, one day, I stepped to home plate and blasted the softball further than I or anyone on our team had ever hit one. I don't know the distance, but I was astounded when the ball hit the second floor of the school building. I just stood at home plate and stared in awe.
Around this time, I was running my own research company. I specialized in conducting research with children on products such as Cap'n Crunch. After a while, my conscience got to me about using my skills to entice children to eat things that weren't good for them. For that reason, I closed my research company.
I often feel that my wife, Roz, is the guiding force of my life. She introduces me to the people and activities that are so important to our living a satisfying and fulfilling life.
Around the time Roz and I met, she was introduced to a personal development course by Landmark Education. I attended the last night of her class and immediately signed up to be in the next program. We both took various courses with Landmark over the next two years. I then joined Landmark's staff and remained there for about two years. This education made a profound impact on both of us. It gave us the tools to become free from decisions we made about ourselves and our lives when we were much younger.
We both realized how we sabotaged ourselves. Remember I told you my mother wanted me to be a physician. Well, I made sure I wouldn't do what she wanted by getting D's in my pre-med courses. That's one example of the kind of self-sabotage that ran my life. We both became conscious to what was stopping us from being, doing and having the success that we wanted in life through these programs. That's what opened our ability to have the success we have today. It has also given me the ability to powerfully and effectively coach and train everyone who becomes part of our nutrition business.
Oh, I forgot to tell you. Roz learned about incredible, scientifically-researched essential nutrients that were making a big difference in the quality of lives of people with cancer, arthritis, menopause, high blood pressure and cholesterol and every other health challenge. She brought me to an international meeting of the company because she wanted us to get into that business. After attending that meeting, I quit my job with Landmark. Roz quit her massage job and we haven't looked back since.
We are truly blessed. We feel that we have been guided to be with companies that allow us to make a real difference for others in terms of their health and wealth. Here are some ways you can learn more about what we are up to:

It seems that life gives us exactly what we ask for. I wanted to meet my soulmate and Roz appeared. Roz wanted a Welsh Corgi and I got her one from the Corgi Rescue Society. She wanted a playmate for Domino, so we got Flash from the same organization.

While we lived in Florida, Roz had a vision of creating a health and wellness center, building on her massage skills and our nutrition business. But, it never seemed to workout. One day, Roz also declared she wanted a larger yard for the dogs to play in. This all plays into where we are today and what we are doing.
One weekend, in March 2006, we went to Eureka Springs, Arkansas for a spiritual retreat. As we drove to the retreat, we both got the sense of this beautiful mountainous country. Roz loved its naturalness. I loved the beauty and the vibration of the place. We turned onto the road where the retreat was being held. Outside the first property was a huge (5ft x 5ft) for sale sign, that we couldn't miss! It's funny how the universe makes sure you get the message. It boasted 10 acres unrestricted property for sale by owner. That weekend we called our realtor and told him to sell our home in Florida. We moved into our new home in October. And we love it.
