White Hawk Quarter Horses

"Moose" is a nice BIG BUCKSKIN colt and is for sale.  See pictures taken of him Oct, 3, 2009 following his newborn pictures.

Here is Sheila's Little John, A.K.A. Mandy's foal.  You can see her on our Mares page.  This year's edition for Mandy was born on March 29th, and he is a BIG colt!  We are still debating over what to call him for his barn name.  At the moment, there is some temptation to call him Bullwinkle, since we already have Rocky, and this new guy is a MOOSE!   Mandy kept him on full "life support" for two weeks past her due date, and it shows!  When you look at his pictures, below, running next to Mandy, bear in mind that she is a 16+ hands high mare herself, and he is that tall on her!

Even though he was carried two weeks past due, we are happy to report that both Moose. and his dam, Mandy, are doing fine.  His sire is our own Skips Bar Review, A.K.A. Gunner, and you can see him on our Stallions page.  Since Gunner is a bay and Moose is a Buckskin, he had to receive his cream gene from Mandy.  There is loads of chrome on this guy too, so he is going to turn out to be pretty snazzy.

Below are pictures of Moose, right after being born, and on his first trip outside the very next day, and less than 24 hours old.  He and Mandy went out with Faith and Rocky, who was only getting his second day outside, due to 3 days worth of heavy rains here, so it was pretty exciting all around.
