MEMORABILIA
Roy Scorer Illustrations
Roy had an interest from an early age in motorsport as when he was 4-6 years old his father used to race saloon stockcars. This keenness in
short circuit oval racing continued as a young man and was a frequent attendee at Aldershot stockcar stadium.
He combined his art and stock car interests to sell paintings and prints to drivers and the public from an old hut at the stadium. These
featured images of the drivers and cars of the time ranging from banger racing to National Hot Rods.
Hot Rod Racing - The Golden Years
Relive the golden years of hot rod racing in the UK. Richard John Neil has opened up his photographic archive to
produce a pictorial look at the sport from 1971 to 1979. The Seventies was the 'golden era' of this type of racing.
The book features over 200 photographs.

RACE HIRE
Arrive N Drive
The package costs £170 and for that you get a mk3 Ford Fiesta Rookie Rod for 2 heats and a final race. We will transport the can and fuel it for the
evening, give advice and tips throughout the meeting. Mechanical support, we endeavour to fix the car on the day if anything happens but not
everything can be fixed. Any damaged caused no refund is given and no cost to the hirer. We provide the racing overalls, helmet, neckbrace,
balaclava and gloves for the driver. We ask for a £50 deposit and then the remaining balance 3 weeks before they race and we then send out a
welcome pack with details of flags and about the track. Practice is available.
