Welcome To Whimsy Art by Barbara J. Moore
A multimedia artist for over 40 years, I am now pleased to share my work with you.
I studied art at Virginia Intermont, graduating longer ago than I care to remember, and at George Mason University, the Torpedo Factory and AACC. Over the years, I have also taught art to the young and the young at heart. Having worked with oils, oil pastels, watercolor pencil and collage, I am now venturing into the wonderful world of watercolors and loving it.
As well as being a mutimedia artist I am an author of children's books and enjoy both writing and illustrating. Most of my paintings are in private collections and my books are looking for their publishing houses. Hopefully my art will put you in touch with the time in your life that held the most magic. If my works achieve that end, then I will have done my job, and the dye is cast.
