LEIGH AND JAMES DO COMEDY FOR XBOX LIVE?! Genre vets James Gunn and James Wan are both working on comedy shorts for Xbox-Live. First, James Gunn (Slither, Dawn Of The Dead and yes, Scooby-doo) is working on a bizarre looking web-series called Humanzee! Troma fans will be pleased to know that the "Humanzee" himself is played by Jame's brother Sean Gunn. (Both were in Tromeo & Juliet!) Meanwhile, James Wan (Saw, Dead Silence, Death Sentence) debuted Doggie Heaven (starring Saw co-writer Leigh Whannell).
The creative team behind the smash hit "Saw" films, James Wan and Leigh Whannell, tell the story of a young man who is having a dog of a day. He's just been shot dead, but his real problems are only just beginning due to a clerical error that has sent him to the wrong heaven. Click here to view the trailer!

DEAD SILENCE DVD RELEASE DATE Dead Silence has just recently been released in the US, but a DVD has already been planned for release on August 18, 2007! The film's expected running time is to be 98 minutes and will be distributed in two different versions in different countries. It will be a 107-minute Uncut Version, and will be released in the R-rated 98-minute version in theaters.
Hopefully you'll already know that Leigh and James wrote the story together and Leigh wrote the screenplay. So far the movie is doing pretty well, coming in at number 4 in the top 10 films for the weekend, taking $7.8million.
Well done to Leigh!
