Whale Cove Knitters, a small home cottage industry, located on the shores of Whale Cove, features influenced by its costal setting.

Grand Manan Island is a small fishing community in the Bay of Fundy equidistant from the shores of the state of Maine and the province of New Brunswick.

Whale Cove, located at the northern point of the island, is home to several species of whales including the near extinct right whale.
