"Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." 2 Cor. 3:17 GOD'S LOVE LEADS US TO SERVE God is a good God. He is gentle, not wishing to bend any reed. (Isaiah 42:3) He judges the heart, not looking at what man sees. God is a God that exercises lovingkindness to those who are forlorn; justice to those who have been wrongly treated. He brings righteousness to those who cone to Him by faith. (Jeremiah 9:24) Though we fall, He will defeat our enemies by His strong Arm. (Ps.89:10) He will put a new song in our mouth to praise Him before the peoples. (Psalm 40) He comforts those who weep and mourn, giving them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning. And when we are burned out or exhausted, the mantle of praise instead of the spirit of fainting. (Isa. 61:3) Though the world charges for their services, God offers peace, life and rest without charge. "Ho everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and you who have no money come by and eat, come by wine and milk without money and without cost." (Isaiah 55:1) "And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come." And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost." (Revelation 22:17) Why search for fulfillment form what the world has to offer. The world offers pleasure, but delivers suffering, disenchantment and pain. The Lord is waiting to fill your needs with His love. Are the problems mounting and the trials getting worse? The anointing of His love will fill you with patience so that the wait will be rewarding. Are those around you snapping at you and the situation becoming more unbearable? The anointing of His love will allow you to respond in kindness that you may radiate His glory. Are others advancing while you are stuck at your old position? The anointing of His love will allow you to rejoice in their success instead of being jealous and not being able to rest. Has God's wisdom allowed you to be right? Then allow the anointing of God' s love to reach out to others and not brag. Are the people around you foolish and always being tripped up by their shortsightedness? Then allow the anointing of God's love to flow through you to care for them, instead of being arrogant. Do you wish that you could just live for yourself? Then seek the anointing of God's love to allow you to live for others, through the power of the Holy Spirit. Is sin so blatant and people so unthoughtful that you are provoked? Allow the anointing of God's love to bless, that you might bring out their best. The anointing of God's love covers a multitude of sins that you might go on in fellowship and take as no account the past wrongs that were done to you. (Prov. 17:9) The anointing of God's love brings rejoicing when the truth of God's word is made known to all. A heavy burden is made much lighter when we receive the anointing of God's love. This love brings strength to carry what we should. The anointing of God's love dispels doubt and allows us to believe our Master. We look to the future and wait expectantly for God to fulfill what He said because this anointing fills us with hope. No matter what comes our way we are able to endure because the strength of His anointed love is sufficient throughout the day. The love of God will not fail us, for the anointing of this love is all powerful. For in effect it is God Himself. For God is love. (1 John 4:8) Be sensitive to the flow of God's love and allow God to arrive and live through you. Do you not sense God's love? Wait on God and stay in His presence and it will come. The anointing breaks the yoke1 Love binds Satan1(1 John 4:18) Light casts out darkness! (John 1:4,5) Evil is overcome by good! (Romans 12:19-21) To allow the anointing of God's love to flow through you, is to allow faith to operate because faith works through love and it is faith moved by the anointing that overcomes the world.
