"Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." 2 Cor. 3:17 HOW DOES GOD EQUIP US? The Power of God is sufficient to take you through any situation. God took dirt and made man. He spoke a word and made the worlds out of nothing. He took men in the Bible that were of little means and made them into effective ministers. He used religious men. He used common men. He used educated men and uneducated men. At all different levels God reached to these levels and chose men and used them. God can use us if we are willing to be used by Him. Will we cooperate and believe that He will use us? He will use us if we will let Him. God is not limited except by how much we limit Him. He will change us according to His purposes. Jesus gives us His love. "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and every one who loves is born of God and knows God." (1 John 4:7) Jesus gives us His Word. "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work." Jesus gives us faith. "... God has allotted to each a measure of faith." (Romans 12:3) Jesus gives us all the riches of His glory. "I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints," (Ephesians 1:18) Jesus gives us the seal of the Spirit. "In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise." (Ephesians 1:13) Jesus gives us the baptism in the Holy "Spirit. ". . .He upon whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining upon Him, this is the one who baptizes in the Holy Spirit." (John 1:33) Jesus gives us a new life. "Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come." (2 Corinthians 5:17) Jesus gives us eternal life. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16) Jesus gives us hope of glory. "... Christ in you the hope of glory." (Colossians 1:27) Jesus gives us instruction for today "And your ears will hear a word behind you, "This is the way walk in it,' whenever you turn to the right or to the left." (Isaiah 30:21) Jesus gives us His plans for tomorrow. "But when He, the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come." (John 16:13) Jesus gives us His forgiveness. "If we confess our sins He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9) Jesus gives us grace to save us. "But we believe that we are saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, ..." (Acts 15:11) Jesus gives us His plan for our lives. "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." (Ephesians 2:10) Jesus gives a song in our mouth. "He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; many will see and fear, and will trust in the Lord." (Psalm 40:3) Jesus gives us a message for others. "For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures," (1 Corinthians 15:3,4) Jesus gives us peace in our heart. "Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, do I give you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful." (John 14:27) Jesus gives us the light to walk through the darkness. "... I am the light of the world; he who follows Me shall not walk in the darkness , but shall have the light of life." (John 8:12) Jesus gives us grace to teach us. "For the grace of God appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age," (Titus 2:11,12) Jesus gives us unlimited power.'strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, ..." (Colossians 1:11) Jesus gives us hunger to seek Him. "He has made everything appropriate in its time. He also set eternity in their heart, ..." (Ecclesiastes 3:11) Jesus gives us protection. "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, 'My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'" (Psalm 91:1,2) Jesus gives us intercessory prayer. "... Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us." (Romans 8:34) Jesus gives us victory over the enemy. "But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved." (Romans 8:37) Jesus gives us fulness of joy. "Thou wilt make known to me the path of life; in Thy presence is fulness of joy; in Thy right hand there are pleasures forever. Psalm 16:11) Jesus gives us steadfastness, "strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously" (Colossians 1:11) Jesus gives us gentleness, goodness and self-control. The fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22,23) Jesus gives us compassion. "Who redeems your life from the pit; who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion;" (Psalm 103:4) Jesus gives us discipline. "For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline." (2 Timothy 1:7) Jesus gives us wisdom. "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him." (James 1:5) Jesus gives us more than we ask or think. "Now to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us," (Ephesians 3:20) Jesus gives us seed to sow if we don't have anything to sow. "Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food, will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. (2 Corinthinas 9:10) Jesus gives us what we need. "And my "God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19) Jesus gives us a harvest to reap. "Do you not say, "There are yet four months, and then comes the harvest1? Behold, I say to you lift up your eyes, and look on the fields, that they are white for harvest." (John 4:35) Jesus gives to us abundantly. ". . .1 cam that they might have life, and might have it more abundantly." (John 10:10) Jesus gives to us answers as we seek Him. "Who is the man who fears the Lord? He will instruct him in the way he should choose." (Psalm 25:120) Jesus gives us the will to serve Him. "for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.^ (Philippians 2:13) Jesus gives us vitality in old age. ''They will still yield fruit in old age; they shall be full of sap and very green," (Psalm 92:14) Jesus gives us healing. "Who pardons all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases;" (Psalm 103:30 Jesus gives us strength when we are weary. "He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power." (Isaiah 40:29) Jesus gives us a reminder of what He has said to us. "But the helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you." (John 14:26) Jesus gives us the armor of God. "Put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. (Ephesians 6:11) Jesus gives us access to the throne room. "Since therefore, brethren, we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus." (Hebrews 10:19) Jesus gives us sanctification. "Sanctify them in truth; Thy word is truth." (John 17:17) Jesus gives us apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. (Ephesians 4:11) Jesus gives us a new heart. "And I shall give them on heart, and shall put a new spirit within them. And I shall take the heart of stone out of their flesh and give them a heart of flesh." (Ezekiel 11:19) Jesus gives us his comfort, "who comforts us in all our affliction . ." (2 Corinthians 1:4) Jesus will give us everything to do His will. "Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord, equip you in every good thing which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen." (Hebrews 13:20,21) Jesus gives us the water of life free. "And the Spirit and the bride say, 'Come.' And let the one who hears say, 'Come.'
