My Story:
Little did I know how Christ would make a difference in my life. I became a Christian at age seven, and several months later I was a child in a single parent family. My Dad raised my two younger brothers and I. Being the only girl in a family of boys, I quickly learned how to take care of myself. I was forced to grow up very quickly, and there were moments when I doubted my self worth. I wondered if anyone could love me.
Time and time again, God has proven Himself faithful and has redeemed my life with His love.While I attended Grace University, I experienced grace in a whole new way. I was asked to be a Resident Assistant and my passion for discipleship and one-on-one ministry blossomed.
The combination of my past and the training God has provided me along the way has opened wide the doors for ministry with military women! These women are in a difficult place surrounded by men, and they are looking for someone to love them. These women need to know what it means to be a Christ-follower and how to be a woman.
Prayer Requests:
* For wisdom and sensitivity to the Lord's voice to minister effectively to the needs of military women. (James 1:5)
* For courage to speak The Truth boldy and without fear. (Ephesians 6:19)
* For my focus, that my eyes would be on Christ and His complete adequacy. (II Peter 1:3-4)
