Outreach is a community service club open to everyone at Westwood. Club members focus primarily on volunteering for various events in the Austin area. In addition to serving locally and regionally, Outreach members participate in school activities and events. You can bring activities in as well - they are gladly welcomed. Volunteer hours garnered through Outreach can be submitted as other organization hours.
One of the persist You will not be forced to earn any certain number of hours to remain in the club. We offer opportunities to you, and you take them when you can. You volunteer not with ulterior motivations of filling out an hour sheent questions has been: What sets Outreach apart from other volunteer organizations and honor societies? The essence of Outreach is true volunteerism. You volunteer because you care. We firmly believe that this is what community service should be.

Previously Psychology Club, Outreach was renamed in the summer of 2006 to avoid the perennial confusion of students who thought that the club was dedicated to the study of the mind.

Outreach has no mandatory volunteer hours, but to encourage volunteering, for each hour members volunteer, they will receive a raffle ticket at the end of the second semester. Every four meetings will also equal one ticket. We will have a nice array of gift cards as prizes for the winners. When you help out, you'll not only feel good about yourself, but also have the possibility of earning something extra.
