Our philosophy would be to look firstly at an individuals' control, trickery, and decision making.
The technique of an individual can be improved by correct coaching methods. We would then look for the progression from a technique to a skill, with the use of tactical decision making. It is vital for development that the environment is competitive, pressurized, and game related.
We also believe that when it comes to technique, a picture paints a thousand words, especially for young children. It is vital to show them and get feedback from them, either verbal or preferably, visual.
The coaching staff then look for players who have game awareness. This allows for good decision making skills, positional sense, developing to functional training.
We strongly believe one of the most crucial areas in the ‘make up’ of an athlete is the psychological persona of an individual. We also like to set goals for both individuals and teams and evaluate the outcome. Once the results have been collected, two way communication is necessary for continued development.
