The Club operates on the principle that success stems from the effort of the individual. As John F Kennedy once said "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country". We should be looking at how we as individuals contribute to the success of the Club.
The past season we had four awards of individual excellence bestowed on the Club. WPSF awarded Nazeem Dulvie and Lynn Alexander the Sportsman and Sportswoman award respectively, Zeona Dearham the Best Player in the Major League award and Michele Williams the Scorer of the Year award.
Furthermore, Nazeem and Lynn were selected as national senior and 16/U coach respectively. Previously Gillian Alexander was assistant 19/U coach.
In addition, the youth section had two team's of the year as well. We can look forward to a rich future.
The Club successfully defended its Giants-Pirates Softball tournament title and three of our players were crowned the best hitters in their sections at the National Provincial Championships. There were four sections
The aim is to provide high quality coaching and life educating that instill the beliefs and values that preparation, effort and commitment are the vital ingredients to achieving personal success on any level.
The objective is to assume a pro-active role in communicating the core values, that will assist in the overall mental, emotional and physical development of young men and women.
Our goal is to help mold today's youth into responsible, mature adults that demonstrate the “life skills” they acquired through their participation in sports and implement these practices into their daily lives!
The Club's home ground is at the Stephen Reagan Sports Complex, Park Avenue, Westridge bordered by Dagbreek and Silversands Avenues.
