The Question I am asked all the time!! ... What Work can a Male Model Get?:  Go to my section: "What Work Available?" which is in the Website Directory on the left side of this Website to see the sort of work out there for Male Models.

We have Photographic Studios in both Nottingham & London, but at present are mainly doing FREE Photoshoots in Nottingham if we think you are suitable to get Paid Modelling Work ... This will mean that we will come to meet you first to show you a Portfolio of our Work just to make sure that this is the sort of Work you want to do. Once we have discussed the work with you and YOU are sure that you still want to become a Model and WE are sure that you have the suitability to be a Model then we will do a FREE Photoshoot, this normally takes around an hour or so at our Nottingham Studio based in Sherwood.

We will take around 70 photos of you ... from these 70 photos we will chose the best six or so and put them on our Website: www.westonemodels.co.uk - this Website is viewed by Photographers, Model Agencies, Website Designers, Advertising Agencies etc. & features on many search engines such as Yahoo, Google, MSN, Ask Jeeves etc.

After taking the photos we will then edit the pictures and post the Photo CD out to you.

We also mail out a selection of your photos to Photographers who have used our Models before to see if they are interested in using you and giving you paid work.

Please note we CANNOT ever Guarantee you any work, who knows if you are the look people are looking for ... unfortunately Modelling is like many other Careers ... you could make it big and make thousands of pounds or you may not make a penny and you may never get a modelling job ... it is like trying to become a Professional Footballer, a Pop Star or an Actor for example ... it may never happen for you ...  but then it is also up to you to use the Photos we have taken of you to try to get your own work too by e-mailing them or sending them out to the links of "Model Agencies" listed on this Website ... One of my Nottingham Models just sent off my Photo CD to "Gap" and spent 3 Days in London doing their Winter Collection Catalogue without my help! or if you have the time the best thing would be to take a copy of our Photo CD we give you to the Model Agency Offices in person so they can see you, unfortunately the majority of these Agencies are based in London.

Please note that we only photograph Models 18 years of age or over.

As a special offer ...  until 30th December 2008 we will add your photo to our Website free of charge if we think that you are suitable, after this date it will cost just £25 a year (under 50p a week!!) to have your photos put on this website to get you work .. so apply on line on this site with some details of yourself, your age & location and write to us with your photo or photos, preferably a face & body shot to: steve@west1models.co.uk

If you are looking to have a portfolio done, in many cases we will do this free of charge, however should you not be suitable for our Website or just want photos for your own use, then our fees for a Photoshoot in your own home or in our Studio start from as little as £70.00 which includes up to 70 photos and the complete edited CD of your photos and Copyright to the photos.

Based throughout England, and with a Professional Photographic Studio in Nottingham City Centre near the Victoria Centre, and opposite "Staples" the Office Supply Store, there is a company called: "Olan Mills" ( 282/284 Huntingdon Street, Nottingham, NG1 3NA - Tel: 0845 121 7067 ) - See their website at: www.olanmills.co.uk  they charge about £100 minimum ( I think ) for a Photo Shoot. For this they give you 5 photos in a photo album; but you have to pay quite a lot more ( I think £250 extra !!) if you require the Disc with all your digial photos on it! - In most cases I will do a Portfolio free of charge if I feel I can get you work - or I charge around £80.00 for a photoshoot in your Home or at my Studio for which i will take around 70 photos and will give you the edited Disc of ALL the Digital Photos too.
