GOOD NEWS!- The 2009 Church of the Brethren denominational Youth Peace Travel Team will be attending Jr. High Camp at Camp Galilee this year to share in their knowledge of peace and social justice issues. Please pray for these 4 compassionate young ladies as they travel across the US attending a different Brethren camp each week. Read more about each one of them below. 
Chelsea Gross (back left): Bridgewater College student, from Mechanicsville, VA, attends the West Richmond congregation. Chelsea is an extremely outgoing woman with a passion peace, social justice, and the environment. She attended Camp Bethel as a child and served as a counselor for 2 summers.
Bethany Funkhouser (front right): From the Columbia Furnace Church of the Brethren, home is Strasburg, VA, and English major at Bridgewater College. Bethany attended Brethren Woods where she experienced the YPTT and was challenged and inspired by their message. Her passion is human rights and writing.
Jessica Flory Steury (front left): Bridgewater College, Music major, Mack Memorial congregation in Southern, Ohio. Jessica was a camper at Woodland Altars and has specific interests in forgiveness and reconciliation. She has ministry experience as a participant in Ministry Summer Service in 2007.
Marianne Houff (back right): Grew up at Camp Swatara, attends the Palmyra congregation, Music Education major at Bridgewater College. Marianne has a great deal of experience in camping, has a passion for the environment and looks forward to teaching and promoting peace through prayer and lifestyle.
