We are a  group for homeschooling parents and children in the western

part of Maryland. We also include the outlaying areas in West

Virginia and Pennsylvania.   Or any area close to this areas.

If you are even interested in homeschooling, you are welcome here!

 

We do many activities and try to have a field trip once per month. 

Network with  other homeschooling families.  Make new friends

that will last a lifetime. Teach your children hands on about new

and exciting cultures, people, places, nature,and life.

 

 Religion is not a must, we want all cultures and religious affiliates to feel

welcome, even those who are not christian  All homeschooling families are

welcome here!!!

WITHIN OUR GROUP!

Please extend a warm welcome to DORINDA BECK 

as our new craft/sciene/music day co-ordinator! 

She is in charge of all the activites for this part of

our group now! They will still be held each Tuesday

 at 11213 Marbern Rd. Hagerstown,MD. A planning

 meeting was held recently and several ideas were

discussed, but Dorinda is interested in everyone's ideas,

so please email her with yours! Please put craft

day ideas in the subject line of your eamil!

 will be co-ordinating the feild trips for the Cumberland

 area homeschoolers. She is working on several ideas

for the upcoming months  and would value your input

regarding things your family may be interested in doing.

WE ARE STILL IN NEED OF A FEW SPECIAL FOLKS TO 

HELP HELP HELP: HELP US OUT:

We need your assistance! We are looking for a few

 people to assist our group to make it better!

 

First, we need someone who would be interested in becoming

 a bike co-ordinator. This person would help to organize  and

operate bike rides throught the next 6 months for our group

to participate in. We are actually looking for one person for

the Hagerstown area and one for the Cumberland area.

The next people we need are 2  community service co-ordinators,

one for the Hagerstown area and one for the Cumberland area. 

These peple will co-ordinate community service events between

our group, and our sisiter group: the Western Maryland

Homeschool H.E.A.R.T.S.  group

responsiblities would include to follow the hearts and

Special for groups, ball teams,youth organization, and churches : they

 can get their photos done and make it into a fundraiser as well..

I currently take all the photos of the actors and actresses at the

Sheperdstown Theater as well as many other photos. Please

 I usually charge a siting fee but will wave this for youth groups,

 homeschool groups, church organizations and ball teams.

Special 1: Team group photos can be used as a fund raiser for your organization.

I can do 8 by 10's for 9.00 each if 25 or more are sold and you may resell

them for a higher rate(usually 11.50..so you make 2.50 on each one sold).

Special 2: I can also do individual or family photos. Pictures are sold at

the following rate and most groups add 1 to 2 dollars to each sheet as their profit :

8 x 10's  $10.00
5 x 7's  6.50
Wallets (6 on a sheet) 8.00

I come to your location to do these as well so no travel on your part!

 (limited travel area).
