WESSEX INTERNATIONAL MAJORETTES

Poole, Dorset

The Wessex International Majorettes are a family run troupe
from Poole in Dorset.

We first started on 4th July 1978 with 160 members.
We had a very military style with our green and white uniforms and our marching

band but as time went on we soon turned in to a dance twirl troupe and now have
very bright dazzling leotards!!

We have taken part in many local carnivals and fetes and travelled to France a fair
few times to enter competitions which we have walked away with trophies (too
many to count!)
Also taken part in Jersey Battle of Flowers parade, and many torchlight carnivals!

Over the years girls have left and moved on, some to even start a troupe of their
own.

But not to worry hey, we're still here after all these years!!

We now have approximately 40 girls ranging from the age of 5 up to adults!
