Welcome to the DeWitt family farm. This is a privately owned facility located in lovely Lapeer, Michigan, north of I-69, just off of M-24. We have Tennessee Walking horses but all breeds are welcome. We have 20 acres for riding and pastures. We are located with-in riding distace of the state game area where we can ride on dirt roads. We are also located less than a half hour away from 3 fabulous staging sights for trail riding. We have an outdoor 3 board riding arena/pasture and 2 hot fence pastures. There are 8 stalls in our barn and a tack room. We currently have 2 open stalls waiting for your horse. There are heated water buckets for the winter, as well as heated troughs outdoors. Stalls are bedded with wood pellets and are cleaned daily. Our isle way is cement and there are 3 sets of cross ties. Horses are turned out daily, as long as the weather is good. They are fed hay and gain twice a day. Our hay is of good quality and is grown right down the road from here. Our farrier comes on a regular 6-7 week basis. Our monthly rate is $225 to be paid on the first of the month. We also offer pasture board. We have a selter in the pasture and these horses are feed hay two times a day. They do not get Grain. They are seperate from horses that come in at night. Pasture Board is $175 per month. Your horse must have a negative, current year cogins. You must provide your own de-wormer, shots, and farrier and vet bills as well as your own tack and grooming supplies. You are welcome to come ride your horse when ever you please and you can take your horse to all your events at your own leisure.
