First off, thank you so much for all of your support of our mission. In case you’re not full in the loop, here’s some more information about the show.
Our mission is to:
To encourage teens to stay true to their Catholic Faith through education and inspiration, so that all may bring glory to God.

Our name originated from a quote from John Paul the Great...
"Be Not Afraid"
The name we thought fit, we are going to "Be Not Afraid" and spread the gospel without regret or hesitation.
One of the We're Not Afraid Music Hour's big missions if to bring the "Little Bands" from all over America onto our show. That’s why we contacted you! We want to show teens that there are tons of great bands out there that are Christian and support them in their faith; and that you are doing. We feel that music is something that deeply affects teens today in our culture. By showing them positive music and musicians with good morals.
One of the shows many goals for the future is that we would have interviews with all of you bands in a file. We then could tie in an interview and then have a song from your band. It would make the show more personal and professional.

The show has been so blessed with the addition of your music, and we mean that! We got quite a few replies to the numerous e-mails that we sent out, but your music will be treasured and used in a very certain way. You're music may not be used right away, but it will be used. We have categories, such as "Prolife" and "Love of God" for example. We will search through your music and look for specific messages that will fit with future themes for shows. So when we find one of your songs that fit with our topic of that month, we will play that song. The team will send you an e-mail when your bands music is being used so that you can listen to the show at www.kvss.com when you click on the listen live button on the fourth Thursday of each month from 7-8pm. We encourage you to listen to the show to get the feel.
We are a little off schedule so we don’t really know when our shows will be aired, so if you tine in and don’t hear the music hour, don’t be worried, we just will be played at a later date. If that happens, we will be posting it on this web-site. The schedule will be smoothed out soon, this is very unlikely to ever happen again. The station is very organized and we are working it out as we speak!
The team will be keeping you in our prayers, in fact, each month we will be praying for a different band; that there music and band members be guided by God in whatever they do. We are going to make sure that you are updated.
