Rae is our foundation mare and has proven to be a wonderful broodmare.  While she only stands at barely 15.1h herself, she has consistently produced horses over 16 hands.  Her first two foals (by Wunder and Werdun) both reached 16.3h.  She has thrown lovely elegant types with her classic Thoroughbred head.

Rae is from a stockhorse background and had not been ridden for many years when we got her.  She was started again under saddle (after two foals), but her ridden career was cut short due to an injury which saw her nearly slice her foot off.  Excessive movement would have opened the scar so she became a full time broodmare.

Magic came to us straight off the track in August 2006.  She was given a couple of rides under saddle where she proved herself to be a lovely riding horse.  Due to a tendon injury from racing, she was then turned out and put in foal to Werdun. 

Magic is a lovely big strong mare, yet she is very light and balanced to ride.  Her movement is very smooth and soft, while having a lot of power.  She carries herself well and is very calm and sensible out on rides.  She is very friendly and will always come up for a cuddle.

Her first foal is the charismatic filly, Halado Wicca.  Not often does a mare produce a first foal of this quality, which makes her future foals very exciting to look forward to.
