Like most writers, when I first discovered a good story could capture my attention, whisk me away from anywhere, and take me everywhere, it didn't take long before I decided I wanted to be a writer, too.
Though I began writing as a young girl, my life took a detour before pursuing my dream of becoming an author. Finally, after an encouraging message on the first Sunday of 2004, I went home and sat down at my computer. I began to write and I haven't stopped since.
