My family the WARNER'S were born and died in Ogley Hay, I myself was christened at St.james Church where I am sure many of my ancestors were baptised, married and buried. This site is dedicated mainly to the WARNERS of Ogley Hay, however along the way i have discovered ancestors and have included them, including the HARTS, BARLOWS, RAWLIN(G)S, and finally the HAMPTONS.
I started building my family tree about 5 years ago, but I go seriously into it a year ago and found a website where I could store my tree, find matches to it and make some friends along the way. I now have over 600 people in my tree and it grows everyday. It is very addictive.
the Warners are my dads side of the family, I don't know why I chose them but I feel that I have always been more drawn to them, they were all miners until my Dad that is, So far I start my tree back in 1700 with George Warner, he started as an agricultural labourer but with the onset of the agricultural revolution he found his way to the mines, and there he stayed taking in his son and his sons son, and it carried on as I say until my Dad who didn't go.
My Dad is the only one left and gone with them is the stories and history, hopefully this site keeps them alive for a while longer.
If you have a link to anyone on this site then get in contact, I am always on the look out for pictures or stories
The people in RED are my blood link
