Welcome all,
Mr Wendell Wong was born and raised in Arima, Trinidad. He picked up his carving knife in his early twenties, and has spent the past 20 years in Tobago and London, continuing and cultivating his work. Over time, he has matured from calabash pieces to craftsmanship on woods varying from mahogany, cedar, to glory cedar playing fondly with many, many wonderful driftwood pieces.
He has fused his imagination and experience from spending time in the mountains, to his travels around England, Cyprus and Malta and put this knowledge into his sculptures, which vary from jungle scenes, local wildlife and abstract pieces, to representations of biblical epics.
Many are carved from driftwood pieces blessed to him from the Atlantic and Carribean sea’s. 
Based and working in London England, constantly creating, he is in the process of finishing several pieces of which he expects to be exhibiting in the very near future.
