Hammers Get Lucky Win
West Ham managed to beat Rovers 2-1 in a game that Rovers again should have won. The Hammers took the lead in the first half and managed to double their lead after a goal from Zamora came after he had clearly knocked the ball out of play with his hand, but the linesman awarded West Ham a corner and Zamora finished to make the score 2-0.
David Bentley managed to get what would have been the equaliser if it wasn't for the bad refereeing decision in injury time but it wasn't enough to get Rovers the points. The final score, 2-1 to West Ham.
Rovers Cup Exit
Rovers were knocked out of the Carling cup on Wednesday after a 0-2 defeat to Chelsea. Neither side really played their best and the Rovers side was effected by injuries. In the end goals from Joe Cole and Salomon Kalou put Chelsea through to platy Aston Villa in the next round.
Mijailovic Gets Five Match Ban
Nikola Milaiovic has been given a five match ban by UEFA for his racist comments towards Benni McCarthy in the Wisla Krakow VS Rovers UEFA Cup match. Blackburn and anti-racism groups have applauded UEFA for the way they dealt with the situation.

2 missed penalties and lots of bad referee decisions cost Rovers the points in a game they should have won.
