Also, there has been a lot of confusion over whether Taylor Lautner will return as Jacob Black in New Moon seeing as Jake undergoes a HUGE transformation, literally. But I am happy to inform you that he will be returning in the sequel. So go ahead and party girls!! Even though most of you are Edward lovers you have to admit Jacob is HOT! 12/17/08- I have decided to start writing dates on my posts so you can have a sense of time when you read these. Anyways I have a short announcement. The date for New Moon's release has been announced and it is November 20th, 2010. I know It's almost 2 years away, but what are you going to do but wait for it....:( 

After the boxoffice release of Twilight, Summit Entertainment has made a new announcement;  Catherine Hardwicke(Twilight's Director) is not returning to direct the sequel, New Moon, or future Twilight Saga films. She says that her schedule for the next year does not correspond well with the studio's timeline. Instead, they are hiring a male director named Chris Weitz. (I hope I spelled that right) He directed the movies American Pie, About a Boy, and etc... In his letter to fans he stated that he hopes to keep the story very close to the book, which is always good. Twilight is released!! Some of you saw it at the premier showing, but I saw it at the next day's midnight showing. Either way it's out so get your butts in the theaters!!

This page is all about the upcoming Twilight Movie. The due date for this wonderful masterpiece was changed abruptly due to the fact that HP6 comes out in the summer instead of November. So now Twilight, the movie, was moved up 3 weeks(!!). **UPDATE**:Some of you may have known and seen the movie Penelope. Wow....I actually like what they did with the movie poster, except Edward's eyes. It really turns you off. But the whole craddling Bella thing really looks endearing with Edward. It also makes her look very breakable and fragile.

I bet everyone already knows who's playing who, but I wanted to give a little info about the important charcters and their career history.  

Here are the Stars of the show!!

Kristen Swert will be our girl Bella in the movie. I think it's a rather good choice if you think about who Bella really is. Stewart is a very plain looking person but pulls off her beauty in a very non-moviestar way. The only thing I think is wrong is that she is a very intense person and Bella is supposed to be...well....not that. Anyways it will be fun to see how it plays out. 

Kristen Stewart is to play Bella in the movie she also starred in other shows and movies like: (in order) Catch That Kid, The Safety of Objects, Panic Room, Cold Creek Manor, Speak, Undertow, Fierce People, Zathura, The Messangers, In the Land of Women, The Cake Eaters, Into the Wild, Cutlass, Jumper, What Just Happened? (awaiting release) , Yellow Handkerchief (awaiting release) , Adeventureland (post-production), Twilight (post-production), and Welcome to the Rileys (pre-production).

Robert Pattinson will be playing our Edward in the movie. Of course many think that they should have picked someone else and that he's very ugly, but once you warm up to the idea he's not to bad. And ya know what I do not appreciate? Is when people say  "they should should have picked so-and-so". I mean that person probably didn't even audition for the part. So lets give a round of appluase for Edward!

Pattinson has played three roles so far two of which were Vanity Fair and Ring of the Nibelungs, but he is probably most well known for his apperance in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire as Cedric Digory. It will be interesting for him to be in the movie because being in HP4 Pattinson is right smack dab in the middle of this battle between wizards and vampires.

Taylor Lautrenter is our man Jacob Black. As most of you know he does not have a very significant part in Twilight, but he is a main character in all the rest.

Taylor Lautner is a multi-talented person. He started studying karate at the age of six and by the time he was seven he had moved on to winning tournaments. He recieved an invitation to train with seven time world champ Mike Chat and at eight years old he represented the US in the WKA (world karate association) twelve and under division. He went on to win 3 gold medals in the WKA and become number one in NASKA.

Although he loved karate, he also became engrosed in acting at a young age too. He was so commited that he had his family traveling back and forth between Los Angeles and his home in Grand Rapids, Michigan that they finally moved to LA after which he made the movies and TV shows: My Wife and Kids, Summerland, The Berny Mac Show, and The Nick and Jessica Variety Hour. He also did the voices of Youngblood in Danny Phantom and did two episodes of What's New Scooby-Doo?. His big break came when he starred in The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl and Cheaper by the Dozen 2.
