Wellspring Canine Academy began as the brain child of Dr. Laura Thomas owner of Wellspring Animal Hospital. Her desire to add more services for her clients that would create a more well rounded full care facility at one location first began with the addition of grooming services to the animal hospital. She now offers grooming, boarding, and training in addition to her full service veternary hospital. After taking two of her personal dogs through a training class of Edie Sutton's, she approached Edie about creating a training program at her new facility. The two opened operation of the Training Academy in November of 2007.
