-The Krusty Krab at closing time: Squidward is sleeping, Mr. Krabs is sleeping and Spongebob is cleaning. Patrick arrives. As soon as the door opens, Mr Krabs wakes up and rushes to see the potential customer, who is Patrick. Squidward also wakes up as Mr. Krabs dashes past him.-

Mr. Krabs: Welcome to the Krusty Krab! Oh, it's you, Patrick.

Spongebob: Hey Patrick! Ready for Best Buddy day?

Patrick: Sure am! I got you a heck of a present. It's a-

Spongebob: Don't ruin the surprise, Patrick.

Squidward: Best Buddy day? -Laughs to himself-

Spongebob: That's right Squidward. -Gasp- I haven't got you anything!

Squidward: -Sigh- Don't bother. I don't want to hear your annoying laugh at my door at four in the morning, to give me a peice of trash.

Spongebob: -Gasp- Squidward! Best Buddy day is not just about gifts, it's about -

Mr. Krabs: Gifts?

Spongebob: Yes Mr. Krabs. But Best Buddy day is more than -

Mr. Krabs: Do you buy the gifts?

Spongebob: Well, kinda, but it has to be really personal and thoughtful . But we mainly make gifts. Best Buddy day is all about -

Mr. Krabs: Save me your life story, lad! I gotta set something up. When is Best Buddy day?

Spongebob: I two days time. But Mr. Krabs -

Mr. Krabs: Quiet laddy! What do people buy each other on Best Buddy day?

Spongebob: Well, Patrick and I give cards and... uhh... personal stuff. But Mr. Krabs you shouldn't -

Mr. Krabs: Oh but I should boy, I should! Anything to bring in customers. Hmm... last minute Best Buddy day gifts...

Spongebob: Mr Krabs, you're taking the meaning out of - and it's not really - Patrick and I, we -

Mr. Krabs: Enough chit-chat! -Shoves Spongebob, Patrick and Squidward put of the door- See you tomorrow.

Patrick: Spongebob -

Spongebob: I know.

Patrick: It's not a holiday.

Spongebob: I know, Pat.

Patrick: We made it up.

Spongebob: I know.

Patrick: What do we do?

Spongebob: I... don't know.

Squidward: What are you two idiots blithering on about?

Spongebob: Oh Squidward, no one else celebrates Best Buddy day but us.

Patrick: Yeah.

Spongebob: What do we do, Squidward?

Squidward: How do I know? I don't care. And besides, personally I'd like to see Mr. Krabs be made a fool out of. -Laughs to himself- Now, goodbye.

Patrick: Spongebob?

Spongebob: I think Mr. Krabs is going to kill us when he finds out.

Spongebob: I think so too, Patrick.

-The next day, at the Krusty Krab-

Mr. Krabs: Good mornin' boys!

Spongebob, Patrick and Squidward: Good morning, Mr. Krabs.

Mr. Krabs: How do you like me stall?

-It is a cheap, wooden stall with the words 'Best Buddy day gifts' on it. There are cards and soft toys, all being sold for a rediculously high price.-

Spongebob: Uh... Mr. Krabs -

Squidward: It's great Mr. Krabs. I'm sure your customers will love it!

1st customer: Good morning everybody.

Everybody: Good morning.

Mr. Krabs: Would you like some Best Buddy day gifts? High quality and just in for Best Buddy day!

1st customer: What's that?
