Our obsession with losing weight has caused a lot of confusing information to come out in the open. So confusing are the information that we can’t tell facts from myths. Before we start distinguishing which is real and which is not, always remember that not everything will work for every one. For example some people lose weight by taking in diet pills but for some this do not necessarily apply.
So here are a couple of weight loss myths that we need to thoroughly understand
in order to lose weight.
1. Exercising is enough to shed of those extra pounds. Most of us know that when we exercise we burn off those fats but this is not enough to make us lose weight. This is because exercise can’t burn all of the excess fat that our body has. We also need to have a balanced diet to support the exercises needed to take those pounds off.
2. Cut out those sweets. For sure many of us love deserts. Unfortunately, deserts have become
linked to weight gain far too often. Truth is it’s not good to deprive the body completely off sugar. When you do so, the more you crave for deserts and the next time you have the chance to eat one, tendency is you will eat more than what is needed. Bottom line is it’s ok to eat deserts in the right proportion. This way you don’t starve the body for sweets that will only cause you to eat more which is not good by the way.
