Rules for sending gown....

1. There are no special washing or shipping instructions. (You can send however you chose is best for you )

2. Please click on  "seamstress near you " find a seamstress that is accepting your gowns at this time. (Sometimes we have many seastresses and other times less)

3.  Send a note with your gown. Information we need is: 1. Your full name and address.2. List what you donated 3. Fair Market Value of each item donated. 4. Where you donated it. 5. You can also list shipping cost. You can also send this information over email info@heavenlyangelsinneed.com /send copy if you can with gown. We keep records with gowns and we file a copy. (THANK YOU)

4. Thats it!

We will send a receipt to you either in the next quarters cycle or by the end of the year.

Note: The homepage has a slideshow of before and after pictures of gowns made in random order, come back and view, your's could be on there soon (read dicsclaimer below)..... Since we receive several gowns we can not gurantee that your gown is worked on ASAP. However be assured your gown will be used. We do our best to use every single piece of your gown/s. If the gowns are dark in color we may use them for children that were left behind with out having their loved one to hold. We use the material for making memorial items with.

 

Note:

1. Seamstresses are special. All of what they do for these families with your gown is free and free for the families. We never charge for anything!

2. H.A.I.N. Does not pay for shipping of gowns.

3. Your gown does not have to be cleaned first. We do this!

4.  We keep records of all gowns that are donated. We try and take before and after pictures of all gowns, due to some of our volunteers not owning a camara we do not gurantee this.

5. We gurantee that your gown will be treated with the utmost respect. It will be stored in a clean invironment until it is being worked on. Our seamstresses are only allowed so many on hand. When one batch of gowns are completed then more allowed to be sent to them. We limit this to not overload the seamstresses.

6. We do accept all colors of gowns. We use many to make little vests for boy bereavement garments. We also use beads from gowns to make bereavement braclets.

1. Because we receive a large amount of gowns a year, we cannot gurantee that your gown's before and after pictures will be posted on our slideshow.

2.  We cannot send hard copy pictures to you of finished items. (Volunteer options)

Donations: Please do not ask us to send finished items to a specific location from your gown/s. We cannot gurantee where the finished products will go. Our volunteers have a list of requests they send items too.

Off color gowns:  We have received gowns that are not burial or memorial type colors. Please note that these items may also be used to create items for children in need. (i.e. quilts, blankets and more)
