Advertisment Reciprocal links are another good way to increase traffic to your site. Basically, a reciprocal link is where two sites link to each other. Thus increasing traffic to both sites. The best way to go about finding a good place to reciprocal link with, is to do a search for a site as similar to yours as possible. Send the webmaster a nice, polite email plainly asking that you wish a reciprocal link and give him how much traffic you get ect. Sometimes they won't, sometimes they will. But its always good to try. These links are also very important because in some search engines they play a big part in determining page rank.
