Once upon a time...
There was a beautiful bunny. She was princess of the bunnies. Her fur
was soft and pink. Her eyes were a pretty dark brown. She was the most
respected bunny in all of bunny land. Princess Bunny of the Bunny
kingdom was turning 14 today and at this age it was customary for
bunnies to take a wife/husband.
Bunny was very stubborn and had turned down offers from all of her suiters. No one quite knew why...
Late at night Bunny would slip out of the castle and wait by the moat in the Castle Garden.
There was the most handsome Goldfish she had ever seen. Bunny had begun talking to the goldfish... and it wasnt long before Bunny and Goldy had fallen deeply in love.
However there was no way for Bunny to be with Goldy. Respectable Bunnies just dont date Fishies no matter how handsome they were!
not to mention Goldy couldnt stay on land and bunny couldnt stay in water for long.
Bunny was very sad. To make matters worse her parents were concerned about her inability to find a mate and so they arranged for her to marry Prince Piggy, prince of the neighboring guinea pig kingdom. The marriage would unite the two kingdoms under 1 rule.
But bunny did not like piggy... She only loved Goldy.
One day A night pixie came to bunny as she waited by the moat for Goldy. The pixie asked bunny why she looked so sad...
Bunny explained her sad love story and explained that tomorrow she was due to be wed to prince Piggy.
The fairy felt sad for Bunny and gave her a magic potion. She told bunny to drink it at exactly the stroke of midnight on the next night and then to pour the seccond half into the moat...
But bunny could not wait until midnight because her wedding was taking place at noon... Bunny waited until the fairy wasn't looking and then took a sip of the potion.
Immediately bunny felt dizzy and doubled over in pain. She fell uncouncious and slipped into the river, dropping her bottle on the bridge.
The next morning the Prince came looking for his bride. He found where she had struggled the night before on the bridge. And he saw the strange bottle. He sniffed it and gently dabbed some of the strange potion from around the rim. He slowly lifted his fingers to his lips and took a taste...
He felt... strange...Then suddenly green vines began to grow up around his arms. He bit and chewed and slashed them off but no matter how many times he tried, new ones just grew back in their place. he cursed and tossed the bottle into the moat as he fled back into the castle he couldn't go through with his wedding looking like this!
Bunny looked... different... her fur seemed to sheen and repell the water, and she now had large fins where her tail used to be.
She floated uncouncious in the water... As the water began to glow and shimmer a bright blue, Goldy spotted the body of Bunny, he would recongnize that face anywhere!
He hadn't noticed but he too himself had changed suddenly his front flippers were gone and he had long powerful legs. He used his new found strength to quickly swim and without thinking he safely dragged bunny's body to the land.
He knelt down over her and checked her breath... she was still breathing thankfully. He gently kissed her and as she opened her eyes they both realized the fairy magic had granted their wish.
From his window, prince piggy looked out and scowled... His mutation was in full force now. "If i can't have her no one will" he thought to himself...
