Weavers Answer

A rumour going about is that Danny Booth is looking at retiring from his post as The Weavers Answer manager at the end of the current season. He has courted Cletus or Raz about coming the manager (for the second time), however I think they both are going to decline his offer. (well i am anyway)

The next game is the last in the current season for the Weavers and they need a win. Anything else and we might be getting relegated, depending on other results!!! We would be like Derby County, only slighty better though.

The new season is going to kick off this weekend and the first match is against FIRWOOD VILLA at 10:40...

The Weavers Anser FC piss up is this Saturday (17th May) come and say hi to the guys....

Also Jimmy (the landlord) wants a signed Weavers shirt put up in the taproom....to go with the rest of the football trophys!!! (Which is just a runners up trophy and 2 awards for "Best Sportsmanship").

However we have come first in the pram/beer race...the only thing the Weavers Answer FC have won previously...

The Weavers have now got a new kit...!!! It is black and white stripes with "The Weavers Answer" on the front in red.

The mighty Weavers Answer have won the league and have now been promoted to the Premier Division....!!! (final table below)
Yeah....it was a tough season especially as we lost our only to games to Northern Blues & Waterhead Wanderers and we drew with Avon Road Athletic (twice) and also Athletico Casino.
So although we won the league...we couldn't beat are arch rivals, Avon Road Athletic, in the league this season...!!! (however we did batter them in the Inter League)

The season is over and the mighty Weavers finished 4th which is quite good for them. Hopefully we can improve next season and finish higher or even get promoted...!!!!

Are keeper Jason is very ill at the moment in hospital...so the Weavers Answer FC would like to wish him to get well soon!!! (hopefully very soon as we will have to rely on the Crusty Old Punk Leezy...)

Congratulations to Matt & Liane Booth on the birth of there new baby boy Logan Jack Booth. Another nephew for Danny and Cletus to teach bad manners and sayings to...!!!

Also the end of the season is nearly upon us and Liam is running away with the top goalscorer award so far...!!!

It looks like the night out will be Friday 7th September as the last game of this season is Sunday 2nd September...however this needs to be verified by the manager Danny Booth. Will keep you updated though....

Oh my christ everyone rejoice Matt Booth has finally scored a goal for the Weavers....yes I can see the pigs flying as well...!!! (no he didn't score with a diving header before anyone asks) Anyway congratulations to him...he will probably go and retire now that he has got his elusive goal...!!! I have now updated his profile as well....!!!! Also bloody typical...Dom has a great game and scores four goals and I go and score an amazing left footed shot into the top corner and this all gets overlooked due to Matt scoring....!!!!
