At times, we all feel alone and disconnected from the world.  We think that our actions and thoughts can affect no one else - that we live as an island, isolated from others.  Yet, nothing could be further from the truth.  We are, instead all connected.  What one person does or thinks affects all around him.  We breathe the same air, we are all co-inhabitors of the same planet.  We are all connected.

Have you ever tried approaching a day with a smile, smiling at total strangers you approach on the street or in a store?  Most of the time, people will return the gesture.  And, you have changed or affected another just by this simple action.
