By Car:

  • Take the M5 and exit at Junction 6
  • Take the A449 (signposted Worcester, Kidderminster)
  • After approximatley 3 miles you come to a traffic island, go straight over (second exit, signposted Worcester, A449)
  • After approximatley 1.5 miles you come to a T-Junction. Turn right (signposted City Centre)
  • Take the third left (St. Georges Lane North)
  • The ground is in the third road on your left

Please Note: Roadside Parking can be difficult. The best option is to carry on past the ground, and park on the side of the road on Merrimans Hill. Also, please show due consideration to residents when parking.

By Rail:

 There are regular services to Worcester from Birmingham New Street station, Birmingham Moor Street/ Snow Hill, Smethwick Galton Bridge and Hereford using Central Trains and from London Paddington, Oxford and Reading using (Delayed) First Great Western trains in addition to a lesser service from Cheltenham and Gloucester on Wessex Trains and First Great Western. Most services will stop at both Worcester stations however some do not. You are advised to travel where at all possible to Worcester Foregate Street.

The nearest British Rail station to St.Georges Lane is Worcester Foregate Street

  • Come out of the Train station and Turn right
  • Take the sixth right (Shrubbery Avenue)
  • Take the next left (Flag meadow walk)
  • Take the next right (St. Georges Lane - North)
  • Ground is immedietly on your left.
  • Approx walking time: 20 minutes

If you have time, why not visit the city centre: Simply turn Left out of the train station past the post office and bookmakers on your left and McDonalds on your right and you come onto the High Street.

If you have to alight at Worcester Shrub Hill, here are your options.

If you are short of time or want to go straight to the ground, your best option is to take a taxi, there is a taxi rank directly outside Shrub Hill station.

If you want to walk directly to the ground your best option is:

  • Come out of the station, and onto the station approach turn right and follow the road round and down the small hill to the main road
  • Turn Right onto Shrub Hill Road
  • At the end of the road turn left, then straight away, turn right onto Lowesmoor
  • Cross over the road and continue until you get to the canal (just past The Bridge Inn), at this point join the Canal Tow Path.
  • Continue along the canal tow path until you get to the ground.(On your left)
  • At the ground, go alongside the ground, past The Cavalier, and the main entrance and turnstiles are on your right.
  • Approx walking time: 35-40 minutes

If you wish to visit the City Centre before going to the ground:

  • As above, come out of the station, and onto the station approach turn right and follow the road round and down the small hill to the main road Shrub Hill Road onto which you should turn right
  • At the end of the road turn left
  • Then, at the main road turn left then right onto Lowesmoor
  • Go straight over the junction onto St Nicholas Street
  • This will take you onto the High Street, opposite McDonalds, turning right, you can see the railway Bridge next to Foregate Street Station, from which you can follow the directions above.

Food and Drink:

There are various pubs and food outlets in the City centre. There are also pubs and food outlets on the main road towards the ground from Foregate Street Station. The nearest pub to the ground is The Cavalier which is approx. 100 meters from the ground. The social Club is open matchdays and is located inside the ground under the stand, everyone is welcome. There are two food outlets in the ground, one opposite the turnstiles and one on the Brookside. ( A third is opened for segregated matches). These serve burgers, hot dogs, chips, and a range of hot and cold drinks.

Entrance Fee:

Entrance to the ground is £10  for adults and £5 for concessions. Entrance to the stand is an extra £1. Programmes cost £2.
