What to bring to class

The musical theatre class begins with vocal exercises, so it's a very good idea to arrive on time.

  • Wear comfortable trousers/pants for ease of movement - jazz trousers are ideal.*
  • T-Shirt (the dance school t-shirt if you have one)
  • Soft shoes - jazz or ballet dance shoes are ideal.*

Bring a pencil to make notes.

A folder or light A4 case is also useful, and makes it harder to lose your music theatre notes amongst school homework etc.

* If you want to buy jazz trousers/shoes or the dance school uniform t-shirt/sweatshirt, contact Miss Kate.

For music theatre graded exams (London College of Music accredited), simple costumes appropriate for the song are needed; something easy to get in and out of!  Help and advice are available for this.
