Our friendly, affordable and welcoming dance classes are for boys and girls from age 3 to 18 and are on weekdays after school, during term time.  


Classes are during school hours for pre-schoolers and after school for the older groups

Classes are at St Bartholomew's Church Hall, Rope Yard, Wootton Bassett, Swindon, Wiltshire.  The hall is light and airy and has an excellent inlaid wooden dance floor.  Wootton Bassett School of Dance is convieniently sited for West Swindon, Lyneham, Purton and The Lydiards; and is close to M4 Junction 16 (West Swindon). Musical Theatre classes with Fiona Fleet are on Saturday mornings
during term time.

Infant/Junior Musical Theatre: 9.30 - 10.00
Intermediate/Senior Musical Theatre: 10.00 - 11.00

Accredited examinations are offered in all disciplines (not compulsory).

Taking part in the school's showcase "Let's Dance" performances is encouraged. These take place at The Ridgeway School, Wroughton, Swindon (the closest venue that can hold 200 dancers backstage).

 

Dance and craft days/weeks are available during school holidays (scroll down, or select here)

 

Entry is also available for competitive dance festivals in the region, some with novice categories for new and inexperienced dancers.  For festivals,  dancers can  choose to learn other dance disciplines including National, Character, Classical Greek and Song & Dance; and individual tuition is available for these. More details on Notes and Notices pages.

ART & CRAFT DANCE WEEKS
Art and Craft Dance weeks are held in the summer holidays.  During the Easter and Christmas seasons, Saturday dance/craft days are offered (very useful to get some unfettered Christmas shopping done!).  The days run from 9.30am - 3.30pm. Check the diary dates page to see if there's one coming up.

Parents and carers come to watch the dancers' own choreography on the last day.

These popular events give the girls and boys the opportunity to try out their own dance and choreography skills, and to perform them.  Arts and crafts form a major part of the fun, and lasting mementoes are created.  Costs compare very favourably with other holiday schemes.

LIMBERING: A NEW CLASS - See Miss Kate for Details

LIMBERING - Gymnastic floor exercises with VICKY.  Min. age 7.  ONLY £1 (1 GBP) PER CLASS!  Aerobic Dancercise. Improve your flexibility and movement range, and increase the WOW factor of your dance performances.

 

Have a coffee break in the CHURCH CROFT (across the road by the church) if there's a wait between your Musical Theatre class and Limbering.
