Doc Wayson has mesmerized audiences all over Washington. From Borders Books and Music to the Martin Luther King Memorial Library, Doc Wayson has performed relaxation techniques, past life realizations, and individual stress reduction. Combining trained hypnotic techniques and a casual comic style, he has hypnotized as few as one and as many as sixty.
After seeing hypnosis shows on local DC stages, Doc Wayson was inspired to become a hypnotist. He was formally trained at the Hypnosis Institute of New York, as well as seminars in Las Vegas, New York, and Sarasota. He is trained in Neuro Linguistic Programming and has earned a Doctoral in Clinical Hypnotherapy.
Doc Wayson has been featured in many newspaper and magazine articles including The Current and the Prince Georges Gazette. The Washington City Paper selected his show as the Best Pick of the Week.
Doc Wayson has also performed in Las Vegas at Circus Circus, Wild Wild West, Stock Exchange Bar & Tavern and The Riviera. He trains new hypnotists at the annual Ultimate Stage Hypnosis Seminar in Las Vegas working with legends such as the late Dr. Ormond McGill, Jerry Valley and Tommy Vee.
