In May, 2006 the personnel from the Jones Station and Waugh Chapel Fire Stations attended a swift water rescue drill. Both companies are involved in the special operations section of the county fire department which includes collaspse rescue, water rescue, hazmat, and rope rescue,

First due Engine 73 blocked by downed trees.  E51 blocked by downed trees while attempting alternate route.  E51, SQ2 and DPW grader cleared obstructions with ingenuity, chains and a little elbow grease.
