Watertown 4-H Rabbit Habit Club

"To make the best better!"

About Us

We are the Rabbit Habit club  rabbits and guinea pig's are what we study. The children choose the  name of the club when the club first started, we have  been established since 2002, we also study other animals as well. Our current age group is 8 -15 years old.

The 4-H motto is to make the best better, and the 4-H colors are green and white. We are involved in many things including feeding the sheep at Gore Estates, and helping out at a local farm with rabbits. We participate in the annual Watertown Memorial Day Parade. We also are involved in a lot of community service project and fund raising for our club. We just participated in the helping military kids by putting together a back-pack with supplies in it. Our meetings are on Thursday afternoons twice a month from 3:15 pm till 5:30 pm we have a show and tell for all member that want to participate to help build confidence in front of groups. We participate in the local scarecrow contest at the mall every year it helps to build togethers on projects like this. We are mostly an all girl club  with one boy at this time, also participate in the local sheep shearing festival at the Gore place in Waltham Ma.every spring. Our dues are two dollars at each meeting to help pay for any supplies that may be needed, we also ask for parents to take turns bringing snacks for the kids at each meeting. We now just started hosting rabbit shows that we run in Waltham, MA and did well & it's been a great success for us, we now will be having two shows a year maybe you'll stop by one of our shows!
